The following is a another bit of self  indulgence on my part.
I have often visited the site of the Gordon's homes in Paris 6th and 14th arrondissements trying to recapture something of the atmosphere of those days for myself. While that part of Paris has had much change original locations still remain as Jan and Cora knew them.

So here is part of a large collection of old postcards depicting Paris in those days; I lingered long over deciding whether or not using these  postcards was really an academic cheat, but the book 'Kiki's Paris' which uses a huge amount of cropped or enhanced postcards showed me it was not. My slide show shows mostly untouched views.
